Principal's Message
“Knowledge alone can remove the darkness of ignorance. It is the mightiest weapon that one can use to remove all challenges of life”. At the onset, I welcome all of you dear students to an academic facility which has a rapidly growing state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Himalayiya College of Nursing, a recent feather in the cap of Himalayiya University. It is fully functional and supports all the latest academic, research and technological advancements. The students here enjoy a learning environment that builds up not only their academics but gives them a push towards comprehensive learning enabling them to be better leaders of tomorrow.
The nursing profession has always been a noble service he mankind. One can be highly technical on one side and yet on the other be readily available to serve even in the most life-threatening conditions. As nurses, we pledge to contribute to the field of nursing clinically as well as academically.

Principal's Profile
Dr. Anjana is Principal at Himalayiya College of Nursing, Dehradun.
She started her journey as a Nurse at CMC Ludhiana in 1997. After completing her diploma in nursing she worked as ICU Incharge for 3 years at Muktsar, Punjab.
In 2004 she did her post-basic and in 2012 she completed her Master’s in Mental Health Nursing from Himalayan College of Nursing, SRHU.
She did her Ph.D. in Nursing in 2019.
Owing to her vast experience in the nursing and research field she has 26 National and International Research publications.
She is a member of the review board in various Journals.
